Germs Layout using Nikki Sivils Get Well Soon Collection

Hi Scrappy Pals!! My new years goal was to scrap more and write up more blog posts. Last year I think I scrapped 100 less pages then the year before. A few of my other goals are to apply to more design teams and get published in print magazines. I think it will be difficult because it seems to me they like clean and simple layouts. That style is a bit tough for me to do.  I do not like naked layouts. Not only is it difficult for me to scrap CAS, I have a hard time with cutesy paper collections. I am a person who likes to challenge herself. This year is going to be filled with lots of never tried before types of techniques and styles. So to help me get scrapping more I have been searching the internet for different challenges. I was inspired by the January challenge at My Creative Sketches. I created a layout around my daughter Jolie. December was a hard month for her. She was on 3 rounds of antibiotics for reoccurring  ear infections. We finally took her to an ENT and she had to have plugs put in to help drain the sterile fluid that her ears weren't draining for whatever reason. Thankfully she is feeling much better now.

GERMS

Note: If your wondering what I inked around the page, it's my thumb. I figured most germs are transmitted through touching hands to face. I thought it would be cool to add that little touch to the layout..:)

Supplies:
