Hi scrappy pals! Well it's a new year and a new word. Although the word I picked last year didn't work out for me I am hoping I will try much harder in every aspect of my life to make this one work. Especially crafting wise. I picked persevere ( Continue in a course of action even in the face of difficulty or with little or no indication of success.) because last year I found myself just giving up on new things because they hadn't come out the way I had liked. I guess I am one of those ladies that thinks if I don't get it right the first time you just aren't going to be good at it. I guess a little impatient too. My husband calls this stinkin thinkin. Yeah he's is bit more positive and read a few more self improvement books then I have. So I decided to use persevere in all situations that are hard this year. I try to tune in as much as possible to Mixed Media Mondays with Tracy Weinzapfel Burgos. It's so much fun over there and I love what she represents. Make sure you are having fun and it doesn't have to be perfect. :) Here's the link if you want to participate in >>>January's Creative Dare.
