First I would like to share a photo of the products I used on my tags.
Graphic 45 Olde Curiosity Shoppe Collection
I made 3 tags total. One being a non- traditional Valentine's tag and the other two being traditional Valentine's tags.
I started with a #8 Manila tag measuring 6 1/4" x 3 1/8". I rubbed the mustard seed distress ink directly on the tag and then mist with water. I used a heat gun to quickly dry. Around the edged of the tag I applied the black soot distress ink.
Below are the supplies I used to make MY HONEY tag. It's a non- traditional tag but I thought it would be fun to step outside the box a bit. I also used the tear technique throughout on this tag.
As you can see I use many layers on my tag.
For my handmade flowers I used 2 different size punches of the same type of flower. Punch 2 large and 1 small individual flower. I used a tooth pick to curl each petal inward on 1 large and 1 small flower and the opposite way on the remaining flower. Glued all pieces together to make 1 flower. Loving the layers.
The flower punch I used for this flower is made by Marvy.
Here's what the flowers look like with different punches.
The top punch was a snowflake style punch. I think the next time I make that flower I will punch a couple more larger snowflakes to get more of a chrysanthemum like look.
The bottom flower is a retro flower punch.
Here's a picture of all 3 tags completed.
Thanks for stopping by the hop. Sending Lots of Love and Hugs!!
